Online Pet Readings

I have recently begun offering online pet readings. I had no idea how much fun I would be having tuning into our animal friends!

What I have found during these sessions has been fascinating and even a bit “out there.” Sometimes I will tap into an animal’s past life. A pet’s past life can often inform the animal’s current behaviors. For instance, one client’s dog went to the bathroom inside the house even though she had been potty trained. In another life, this dog had been Egyptian royalty. She was used to being waited on and had servants who would follow her around cleaning up her poo. She did not understand why her current owner was upset by her behavior. I suggested that the client connect with the dog’s soul and explain to her how things are different than her Egyptian life. Also, the pet parent is not her servant and she needed to do her part for the relationship by going to the bathroom outside. I also coached the dog along the same lines while in sacred space with the animal. The client resonated completely with this information. I look forward to seeing how this story unfolds.

To begin the process, I ask the client to send me a picture of their pet along with any particular questions they may want more insight into. I then invite the animal’s energy and higher self into my field, which gives me a sense of its overall personality. If the client has specific questions about their pet, I can ask the animal’s soul at that time.

During sessions, I have accessed animals’ past lives, what the animal may need from their owners, and for one client, I even talked to beings from the star Sirius who told me that one of the reasons that system is called The Dog Star is due to their unique connection to dogs. These beings told the client they would guide her on her greater mission to help more animals.

Return of The light

Return of the Light by David Copson

In mid-December, I came down with The Cooties. I tested positive for it a few days later. The first few days were easy peasy. I thought if this is it “I got this!” Then it turned into a sinus infection, which then turned into pneumonia. I ended up in the ER because I was having difficulty breathing.

During the first two weeks of this illness, I couldn’t touch the Light. I couldn’t hear my Internal Guidance System. I couldn’t “see” the Light at all.

I was shrouded in darkness.

I’d never had that experience before. Being shut off from the very essence of my being. I’ve always taken my connection to the Light for granted. I just assumed it would always be there.

When I told my husband about my experience he said that must have been very lonely. I started to tear up as he said that because he understood what I was saying. The Light has always been my companion. To have no access to that which makes me whole was devastating. One day, as I began to heal, the Light returned and I could see again.

I do realize that the Light never left but that is how it felt. I had many people sending me prayers and healing energy and even though I couldn’t “feel” it. I knew it. When I originally posted my experience to Facebook I was astounded at how many people had similar experiences. You can check out my original post here. Power Over Pain

Have you ever noticed how, when you are in pain, your thinking tends toward the negative? This is because pain lowers your vibration or your energetic frequency. This can be any kind of pain. For example, it can be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual pain. Negative thinking is a natural result of dwelling in a lower vibration.

How do we shift pain? We rise above it. Easier said than done, right?
Rising above pain does not mean we ignore or deny it. Raising our vibration means we can overpower pain. Let us look at the word overpower. It is made up of two words over and power. Declare your power over pain! Choose a peaceful or joyful thought and think that. This raises your frequency back up to a place of empowerment.

When we are in fear or pain, we can feel like our mind is in control. Another way to shift out of a negative thinking pattern is by moving your body into Child’s pose. Bring your forehead to the floor with your butt moving towards your heels. Your knees can either be open are closed depending on your comfort. If you want to take this pose a step farther, you can bring your hands into Prayer pose and lengthen them towards the top of your mat. This is called Guru Pranam. This posture quickly deepens your breathing and quiets the mind. It raises your heart above your head so the mind can still. Stay here for as long as you like.

I do this pose in bed before I fall asleep to clear the gunk of the day out of my mind. When I am anxious, I do this pose, and when I feel grief, I do this pose. Thus, Guru Pranam brings balance back into the body, mind, and spirit.

Change Is Coming

I had a rough week this past week. Being energetically sensitive to all that is happening in the world these days can take a toll. In me, the symptoms of energetic overwhelm are fatigue and lethargy. I simply had no mo to jo.

I asked my Spirit Guide, Grandfather for some inspiration. This is what he said.

I Was A Drunken Monk

Many years ago, on an Easter Sunday at the Saint Paul Cathedral, I had my first past life memory. I was watching the priest and his altar boys coming down the aisle swinging an incense burner from side to side. At the moment that the scent of the incense reached me, everything changed. I was no longer seeing the church or the people sitting around me. 

I saw row after row of grapes growing on vines in the Italian countryside. The day was warm without a cloud to be seen and, the sun was low in the sky. I saw all this as if I was in a theater watching a movie. 

In the next scene, I was a big, round, and very fat monk checking on the grapes to see if they were ready for harvest. I could tell that I was happy in my life as a monk and a master winemaker. I sensed that I indulged a great deal in the wine I made. I was not old nor young, but my hair was still brown and was cut in a tonsure as the monks wore in the Middle Ages.

All of this information came in just a flash of knowing. It couldn’t have lasted more than a few seconds. This memory happened over 25 years ago, and I still remember it as clearly as today. This experience made me a believer in the theory of past lives. This is just one example of how we can discover our past life experiences.

How to Choose Love

I was listening to this podcast from Tara Brach on fear. She said that love is bigger than fear. This prompted the following conversation with my guides.

Me:  How does my Love become bigger than my fear?  

Guides:  You start by relaxing the body. Take some deep breaths in and let the breath sink deeply into the body. Imagine that each inhalation is filling you up with light. Imagine each exhaling breath releasing all of the fear that has accumulated in your physical structure. As you focus on the breath, the mind will follow. Once the mind follows the breath, the body can sink more deeply into relaxation—this relaxation response is the container for Love.  

Love needs a container. You may say that that is not true but think about it from the perspective of your physical body. The physical body is a container. You place into it anything from the foods you eat to the ideas you think. The body contains all of what you put into it. If the container becomes too full from food or drink, you don’t feel well. With time, if you continue to overfill your container, your body can break down and become diseased.  

If your mind becomes too filled with fear, violent images, overthinking, etc., it too begins to wear down. Anxiety, depression, and other “mental illnesses” can occur as a result.

Fear is not natural; it is a construct of the mind. But, on the other hand, Love is natural and eternal. So, to answer your question on having your Love be bigger than your fear, breathe.

Me:  That seems too simplistic.

Guides:  It is very simple. The mind wants to distract you from breathing. When you breathe deeply, you automatically move out of the mind into Presence. It is in this space of Presence that you experience Love.  

Me: It sounds like the mind is the enemy.

Guides:  Not at all. The mind is simply a tool that is needed to bring you into duality. For that is the reason you have arrived here. You wanted to learn difference. You wanted to experience opposites. You wanted to evolve and grow. You wanted to experience Love through physicality. There is nothing like your earth plane in all of the Universe. Those souls who have arrived here at this time know (on some level) the honor they are being given to experience Life. On. Earth.

What a party!

Darkness is your candle

There is a quote by Rumi which says, “Darkness is your candle.” It reminded me that there could be no light without darkness and no darkness without light.

When I get caught up in fear, it is easy to forget that. Yet, those are the times when I need to take a deep breath in and fan the flames of my Inner Light. On the exhale, I can then breathe that Light back into the world.

Deep breathes calm the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, our flight or fight mechanism. However, when we are constantly bombarded by fear either from the news or on social media, it is hard not to get caught up in the drama and traumas of the world.

If you feel overwhelmed, go on a walk or do this quick energy cleansing technique to reset yourself. And, remember to breathe.

Energy cleansing technique

If you are feeling overwhelmed energetically from electronics or external noise (news, etc.), stand tall, wherever you may be, with your palms facing the Earth. Visualize all of that excess energy leaving your body and going into the Earth. This exercise does not harm Her, and it leaves you feeling more centered and less energetically cluttered.

You can practice this anywhere at any time. If you are standing in line give it a try. I learned this technique from the trance channel Summer Bacon.
